Travel to Berlin:
By airplane:
Most international flights arrive
at the airport
„Berlin-Tegel“ (TXL). The
conference venue
is located only 8 km from the airport. The most convenient way to
reach the venue is to take a taxi, cost will be around 20 € and it
will take roughly half an hour depending on traffic.
A more cost efficient way to get to the venue is to take the express
bus "JetExpressBus TXL", it runs every 10 minutes most of the day,
costs 2.10 € and will take 35 min. See
here for a detailled map of the bus stops at the Berlin-Tegel
airport, look for the stops marked "TXL". Enter the bus at the
airport terminal and get off at the stop “Spandauer Straße /
Marienkirche”, about 100 m from the venue across the street (detailled
map of the bus station with directions,

detailled time table information).
The other airports in Berlin are "Schoenefeld"
(SXF) and "Tempelhof"
(THF). See

Radisson SAS.
By train:
The main train station in Berlin
is the "Hauptbahnhof".
The trip from the "Hauptbahnhof" to the
conference venue is only 2 km, a taxi will take about 10 minutes
and the price is about 10 €. You may also use public transportation,
i.e. the “S-Bahn” line
S5,
S7,
S75 or
S9 (tracks
15 and 16 at level 2) in direction "Zoologischer Garten" or
“Alexanderplatz” and get off at the stop “Hackescher
Markt”. At this station take the exit towards "Spandauer
Straße”. Follow this street and turn right into
“Karl-Liebknecht-Straße”, where you will find the hotel on your
right hand side (200 m walking distance,

directions).
